In this lesson Megan teaches the basics of finger picking. With close ups on the pick hand, it’s an excellant instructional video on the art of fingerpicking.
If you are a beginner, don’t expect to get this downpat on the first run. But with a bit of practice ….
just got my brand new blue guitar .. this is actually surprisingly helpful and i’ve never played a guitar in my life before, except for mucking around on my friends guitar. thanks .
rockers357 We dont get a good look at the headstock for an emblem, but it looks like a Yamaha. Maybe LL or LS series. Cant be certain. I have an 1980s Yamaha. Very nice sound
It is here that I plan to share guitar lesson videos, backing tracks and other information for some of my favorite songs (and hopefully yours too).
This site is still very much in the developmental stages. Ultimately I plan to offer numerous resources that may be helpful to the guitar player so hopefully you'll check back once and awhile.

I’ve been strumming for years, but have a hard time with fingerpicking. I can never seem to pick the strings hard enough to make much of a noise!
